Coming to Xbox 27th July.  There's also a free tie in with Top Gun (wait till the end) coming later this year:

Looking forward to both,
my only concern is available drive space. I guess you could get 4 big games on the (non-expanded) Series X, with little room left

Think it is listed at around 111gb for the base game

Might need to be careful with the free add-ons for this game.

The sdd space on the Xbox is going to be an issue I think (generally) but will at least focus you on a few games rather than installing everything you've got and not playing it.

I believe you can also pre-install it now on Xbox ready for next month.

I'm going to enjoy flying that day. Could be interesting and busy.

I need to have a clear out of mine (I like to keep as much as possible installed, just in case) as I think I have about 1.5tb left between the internal, the expansion and an external 8tb.

Also any 1st party add-one bought in the Windows store (not Steam) will be available without purchase on Xbox.

3rd party will be down to the maker so might have to be re-bought.

Looks like there should be at least two official add-ons coming out in the future. One for helicopters and another for sailplanes.

Then there's the regular world updates (Nordics next). Luckily these are mainly optional.

Honeycomb yoke, pedals, throttles and HOTAS unvieled.  Now with Xbox support.

Quote
First up, Honeycomb has revealed it is launching the all-new Tango Foxtrot Flight Stick and Throttle. The dual controllers are inspired by commercial aircraft and feature detachable sticks, which can be swapped out for left-or righthanded use. Nicki Repenning, CEO of Honeycomb Aeronautical, explained the reason for including two separate sticks, rather than one ambidextrous unit, was to not compromise on the grip ergonomics.

In terms of features, the base of the stick comes with five programmable buttons and toggle switches, three rotary switches and a detachable undercarriage lever, which can be moved to either side of the stick for left-or right-handed use. The stick is equipped with a dual rocker switch, an eight-way HAT switch, two buttons, and a trigger.

The throttle unit features twin throttle levers with thrust reversers, which can be set up with or without detents so they can be configured for light aircraft or airliners with or without reverse thrust. They can also be locked in place for flying single-engine machines. The list of features continues with a TOGA (Take-Off/Go-Around) switch and A/T (Autothrottle) disconnect buttons. The speed brake and flap levers come with an authentic ‘pull to unlock’ function, which can be disabled when flying GA aircraft. Finally, the throttle also features engine start switches as well as rudder trim, autobrake, parking brake, and an engine and an APU fire suppression system. The detachable base is designed to provide a sturdy platform for flying from the comfort of your sofa, although under-desk telescopic mounts are also planned. The Tango Foxtrot is scheduled for release in the second or third quarter of 2021 for Xbox and PC and will retail for $249.99 (£195 approx).

Another joystick due to launch next year is the Foxtrot Flight Stick. It is based on the Tango Foxtrot Flight Stick but comes as a stand-alone unit. The Foxtrot Flight Stick will be sold in a righthanded configuration although a separate left-handed addon stick can be purchased separately for $29.99 (£23 approx). It includes all the same features as the Tango Foxtrot stick and is equipped with an undercarriage lever and a built-in throttle with thrust reverse; the undercarriage lever and throttle can also be swapped for left-or right-handed use. Like the Tango Foxtrot Flight Stick and Throttle, the Foxtrot Flight Stick is due to launch in the second or third quarter of 2021 for Xbox and PC. It will retail for $99.99 (£77 approx).

Surely if you do more MS FlightSim you want a yoke and pedals?
