Given that Friday 1st July Canada Day, and Monday 4th marks Independence Day, we figured that it would be a good reason to bring back our Double XP Weekends, which have been on hiatus since Season 3 launched at the end of March.
So starting TODAY you can earn double the Base XP for matches in all game modes, with all characters. Double XP will last until July 4th, so take the long weekend and grind towards those Color 9 unlocks.
You may be asking yourself, “what if I own Season 3 Ultra Edition, and have the Lifetime Double XP boost? Does that mean I get even more XP?” Yes, yes it does. As a matter of fact it will stack with this promotion. Oh, and if you didn’t know, it is possible to also purchase Double XP Boosters to further increase your XP gains.
It is possible to earn a total of 4x XP this weekend. You’re reading that right. 4x the XP if you stack everything together! Anyone out there have the gall to make that happen? Make sure to show us in the forums!
It should also be noted that in-game items are on sale as well. When you fire up KI, head on over to the Store section to take advantage of the discounts. Like the Double XP, the sale is sent to end on July 4th.
