So that's what he looks like under the hood and worms!

I always wondered what happened to him after he jettisoned his escape pod.  :o

Returning from The Last Starfighter, Xur is on Titan this week.

The Wardcliff Coil. - It's that crazy microphone looking volley rocket launcher that never quite made it to Destiny 1.  - 29 Shards

Foetracer - Hunter helmet that marks enemies with a crosshair. Increased damage to low health marked targets. - 23 Shards

ACD/O Feedback Fence - Titan arms that build up a charge from melee hits, which is discharged through melee hit. - 23 Shards

Sunbracers - Warlock gloves that increase the duration of solar grenades and grants grenade energy on melee. - 23 Shards

That's all right if you have 30 Shards. I was disappointed last week as I didn't have any, I don't even know what a Shard is, it's probably a vegetable you find growing on Nexus

No, silly, those are Chards.  :P

You get shards from dismantling legendary (3 shards) or exotic (5 shards) weapons or gear. As you get higher power you'll have enough of these to dismantle. If you've had an exotic, you can buy it anytime later for 10 shards, so dismantling isn't a worry.

Xur's stuff is 270 power, useful for boosting you up a bit if you are level 20 but still under 270 power level.

Xur is on IO, skulking around inside a cave.

Riskrunner (Submachine Gun) - 29 Legendary Shards

Mechaneer's Tricksleeves (Hunter Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards

Hallowfire Heart (Titan Chest) - 23 Legendary Shards

Transversive Steps (Warlock Leg Armour) - 23 Legendary Shards

Riskrunner is a great adds clearing SMG if you didn't pick it up during your campaign playthrough. If you take arc damage it boosts the guns damage and shots have a chance to chain lightning to nearby enemies and return ammo to the clip. When this activates you basically become a Stormcaller Warlock with a bottomless clip of ammo. It is situational, but you often take arc damage and when it works, it really works well!
Only downside is the recoil is a bit jumpy, at any range this isn't great, but none of the SMG's are made for range.

Mechaneer's Tricksleeves - Hunter arms that increase sidearm ready and reload speed. - I don't really use sidearms, so don't know if this is worth picking up.

Hallowfire Heart - Titan chest that works with a hammer throwing solar build. Melee recharges faster and abilities recharge much faster when Hammer of Sol is active. Has a nice looking fire effect in your stomach, Guardians will gather around with marshmallows and lil sausages on sticks.

Transversive Steps - Warlock legs that reload energy weapons and increase movement/sprinting speed. The reload is slow but steady, but the speed increase is similar to using the Mida combo or kinetic with Lightweight.
Worth noting that if you do use the Mida combo and these boots, the speed increase stacks.

Xur is back with disappointment and limited stock. They really should make it so you can buy exotic engrams or legendary mods or something useful from him.

He's on Nessus, near the Watcher's Grave landing zone.

Fighting Lion (Grenade launcher) - 29 Legendary Shards - Possibly the worst exotic in the game

Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helmet) - 23 Legendary Shards - Radar remains visible while aiming Primary Weapons.

Peacekeepers (Titan leg armor) - 23 Legendary Shards - Reloads stowed Submachine Guns and allows you to ready them instantly.

Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest armor) - 23 Legendary Shards - Float like a butterfly, look like a fairy.

'Zactly.... otherwise, whats the point?

I'm also disappointing that whenever I'm cashing my shit in with the various vendors (and that's a technical term I just used  :P ), when it come to equipment value, it's stayed at 200 for what seems like ages. (My lack of game time notwithstanding)

I take it you mean the green items that the Planetary contacts sell? Those stay at 200, so are only of use as you go through the campaign and try to gain some power. Now that you're 232 they are less than useless to you. It's not like Destiny 1 where you had actual vendors that sold rotating stock unfortunately. The engrams they give for handing in tokens until you level them up should be of more use to you. Up until the soft cap of power 265 they should be giving you purple engrams that will power you up.

The best stuff is for doing your milestones, such as complete public events on Nessus this week, where you get Luminous engrams. These will always be above your current power level, and help you get stronger. The public events one and the Clan XP are easy enough to do solo, by the time you've done the Public Events you've completed nearly half the XP goal, just do a few patrols to finish it off. There's two Luminous engrams there. LT on the map screen will show you this weeks current milestones and how close you are to completing them.

Those Peacekeepers are worth you picking up Orbs. Even if you don't really use SMG's so the perk isn't that useful for you, the 270 power is way above the 229 legs you have equipped. This will bump up your power, and this in turn will give you better power level items drop for you from all sources. Even the Fighting Lion, although it's a bit rubbish, will be much higher than the 237 (I can see your items on the app) pulse rifle you're using. Equip both, your power jumps up, and then play with better stuff dropping until you get items you prefer. Would be useful as you run some Strikes tonight.

Apologies if any of that was obvious, hope it helps a bit.  :)

Xur is on Titan this week. I guess he noticed everyone was there anyway doing Public Events..

Oh my, he actually has some thing I want! Thanks snake face.

Sweet Business (Exotic auto rifle) - 29 Legendary Shards

Raiden Flux (Hunter chest armor) - 23 Legendary Shards

Doom Fang Pauldron (Titan gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards

Winter's Guile (Warlock gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shard

Sweet Business - That Auto Rifle chaingun that looks like it could cut down trees in Predator. Holding down the trigger boosts this weapon's range and rate of fire, and automatically loads ammo pickups into the magazine. Equip-able by all classes, but particularly brutal and effective for Titans with the low barrier and War Rig. This one has alluded me so far so I'll be having some of that, thanks.

Raiden Flux - Again. Great for extending your Arcstrider kill spree, but no doubt you have this already if you're a Hunter

Doom Fang Pauldron - Another repeat offering. Melee kills recharge your Captain America shield flinging throw.

Winter's Guile - Eliminating enemies with melee attacks increases your melee damage. This is particularly good if you're a Devour warlock, and you like palm punching things.

This is another one that I've been looking for, and this is why:
