PES 2019 demo is out August 8th
« on: August 08, 2018, 12:05:56 pm »

PES 2019, the next instalment in Konami’s annual Pro Evolution Soccer football-sim franchise, is getting a demo this week that will give most fans their first chance to try their hands at what EA Sports FIFA’s biggest competitor has been up to. It will come with a total of 12 teams, all licensed unlike the full game where most teams from the big leagues continue to be the opposite.

The demo for PES 2019 will be available Wednesday, August 8 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There’s no demo for PS3 and Xbox 360 players as PES 2019 is set to be the first entry since PES 6 in 2006 to not release on either of those legacy consoles.

The download size for PES 2019 demo varies by platform. On the PS4, it comes in at 3.759GB while it's slightly more at 4.43GB on the Xbox One. Steam hasn't revealed the download size for PES 2019 demo on PC yet.

PES 2019 demo modes - Eschewing last year’s strategy of having a separate online beta prior to a demo release, Konami is clubbing the two for PES 2019 demo. That results in three game modes: Exhibition Match, Co-op Mode, and Online Quick Match.

Exhibition is single-player versus AI, Online Quick Match is multiplayer against other demo players, and though Konami hasn’t provided any details, it’s possible Co-op Mode will allow for both local and online play.

Only two stadiums will be available for matches in PES 2019 demo: Camp Nou, the home of FC Barcelona; and Veltins-Arena aka Arena AufSchalke, the home of FC Schalke 04.
