Next Fallout 76 Xbox One Beta Dates & Start Times Announced*updated3*

Bethesda held its first Fallout 76 beta session this week on Xbox One, but if you missed out, you'll soon have another opportunity to try the online RPG ahead of its release. The publisher has announced the date and time of its second and third Fallout 76 beta tests, and like the previous session, these will only be available on Xbox One.

The second Fallout 76 beta test kicks off on Saturday, October 27, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST. Whereas the first session lasted for four hours, this weekend's test is much briefer, only running for two. This will be followed by another test on Sunday, also for two hours. You can find the exact hours for each region below.

According to Bethesda, the purpose of the Fallout 76 beta is to "stress test and break the game," so it will only be running during "targeted time frames." To qualify for the beta, you'll first need to pre-order Fallout 76 on your platform of choice, then follow the steps detailed on Bethesda's FAQ page. https://fallout.bethesda.net/faq You'll also need to have an Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus subscription to participate.

Bethesda hasn't announced any further Fallout 76 test sessions yet, but the beta is scheduled to expand to PS4 and PC players as well starting October 30. Those who participate in it will be able to carry their progress over to the game when it launches next month. You'll also get 500 Atoms--Fallout 76's in-game currency--as an added bonus for pre-ordering, which you can use to purchase cosmetic items in the shop.

Fallout 76 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 14.

Even the weekend times for me not great. Thankfully I cancelled pre order after I got code for beta. I will see if there are some better times in the next week or so.

I thought the beta was going to run for a bit more time? At least a weekend?  Seems ridiculous to just let it run for a couple of hours!

Updated with other platform time, Bethesda has really screwed up the uk times.

Only remembered this an hour after the advertised starting time, so managed half an hour or so inbetween trying to cook a roast! Anyway it seemed to work, and quite smooth on a xbox s. It was odd seeing the odd other player in the world doing their own thing. Thankfully no one tried to kill me! You have the option to team up with other people when you meet them, but I'm sure playing with friends will be better. I can imagine the loot and crafting could get quite addictive. Already at level 2 I could craft some basic armour and pipe guns etc. You have a portable camp that you carry with you and it will be interesting to see what buildings you can create when you gather more loot.
 The beta times look better this week so hopefully will give it another go this week.

Manaaged to play yesterday session 2 (10pm-12am) & today session 3 (4-6pm).

So far it's ok, I know that sound mmmh, but every time I start to really get into the game the session runs out.

My character is currently level 5 & your progress does carry on from the previous session inlcuding the last mission you were on.

Thankfully no one tried to kill me!

There's a reason for that, once your player hit's level 5, then other playes can steal/attack & kill you. 



Hopefully will try an get an hours worth of play in session 3 October 30, 11 PM to 3 AM UK.

Good to know I'm safe until level 5 then. I'm hoping the game encourages co-op more then griefing though. However I'm sure this game will have more then it's fair share of dicks!

We’ve definitely been given the short straw regarding times!
Played up to level 5 as well. May take a while to get used to it. Especially the perk cards. Seems odd do you think

Maybe they are trying to expand the perks to a more online team strategy perks, which feel like Fallout Shelter, i.e. more about base/community building perks/skill ?
