Wow - One of the best openings of game I've ever seen

I've just completed Tomb Raider after playing it on and off for about 18 months, and now it's time to start on 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' which I bought a while back when it was on sale, and after playing it for the last 20 minutes all I can say is "wow".
The graphics are a big step up from the previous game, the game looks stunning, even on the vanilla Xbox One. The opening interactive scenes were gripping, they set the scene for the story and it pulls you into the world almost immediately.
I hope the rest of the game continues to meet the high standard it has just set for itself. I also hope there is less of the crappy combat mechanics that plagues the last game.
If you've played 'RoTR', would you say the game met or exceeded your expectations?

Seems ages since i played it but I remember it being exceptional and a lot of fun and im confident you will really enjoy it

Just got it myself as just played the demo on my ps4 pro. Looks stunning on a 4K tv.
I know the Xbox one x is a lot more powerful but how much better are the visuals/performance than the pro?
