Fallout 76 Beta Dates are Out, Xbox One Players Will Have 7 Day Early Access

(1/1)

nad2dare:
Bethesda has finally announced the Beta schedule of its upcoming Fallout 76. According to the announcement, Xbox One owners have been given a head start and they will be able to play on October 23 while PS4 and PC players will be able to join the fun on October 30.

The beta is available exclusively to those who will pre-order the game. Fallout 76’s beta will run until a few days before the game’s official launch. Like most betas, Fallout 76 beta will not be available at all times but it will run in special timed windows and players will only be able to play the game during these time frames.

The main reason behind these specific time windows is that Bethesda wants to have as many players playing the game at the same time as possible so that they can really test the networking capability of their servers and the game.

During the time when the beta is not running, Bethesda will use the collected data to make fixes and adjustments to the beta to make it even better for players. However, good news for all participants is that the beta will be the complete game and all progress they make in the beta will carry over to the full game.

This will eliminate the need of downloading the full game again when it comes out or starting the game again from scratch. All players who have pre-ordered the game will automatically receive their codes and they will be allowed to pre-load the game early so that they can jump right in action when the game finally comes out.

Fallout 76 marks the start of a new chapter in the long-running Fallout franchise as this is the first game to include online. Players will be able to join others and their friends in online gameplay where they can explore the vast waste of West Virginia together.
