HELP !! Fifa 18 won't let me play online

All I'm trying to do is play an online friendly with my grandson 200 miles away. It's saying "Your account does not have the required privilege to access this feature". I press yes to fix the problem and it then says to change a setting but doesn't say which one.

After a quick google I made sure I have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription and privacy settings set to 'Adult'. I have logged out of the account and logged back in, restarted the game and rebooted numerous times. It's still not having it.

Does anyone have the answer ??

Yes ... managed to fix it. Another google post pointed to make sure that communicate with voice and text is set to Everybody and set join multiplayer games to allow. Toggled both settings and managed to access the online features. Not sure which of those two did the trick but up and running now.
