Cod will always be my game for fps mp, as it's just the best option compared to whats out their i.e halo, boringfiled, titanfall, etc.
To be honest the mp looks like it's black ops 3, without the wall running but they kept the specialist class which I didn't like in black ops 3.
The problem I have with Treyarch is that I find their inconsistent personally with their black ops series game. I mean World at War & Black Ops 1 were a step back when everybody wanted a cod with a modern/futuristic setting, but they were taking us back to world war & Vietnam.Black Ops 3, at the time of releases gamers were fed up of wall running and futuristic setting, gamers wanted to go back to world war and boots to ground approach.
The only game I have enjoyed from Treyarch is Black Ops 2, I would say it's is in my top 3 mp cod games of all time.
We arrive at black ops 4, where everybody wants their fps games to have a sp story campaign otherwise gamers will rage on the internet & try to boycott the sales of the game. Treyarch, do have the most loyal cod fans compared to Infinity Ward who were my favourite cod team and Sledgehammer Games who are my favourite cod team now.
For me the sp campaign is no loss, a I've always brought cod for the mp, sp campaign is secondary to me and not that important and zombie mode is non existent to me.
Whatever happens I will buy black ops 4, because I always buy cod every year & it's bound to be better then bf5. It is a brave step for Treyarch, to release a game without a sp campaign, but at least they have given the Treyarch cod fans more zombie modes & a battle royal mode, so I can't accuse them of cutting a short of feature, as they have replaced the sp for a battle royal mode which is the current trend in games today.
