D&D Lost mines of Phandelver - Chapter 1
The adventurers known as OldG, were hired by a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker. Rockseeker
would pay each OldG member 10GP (Gold Pieces)
for escorting his wagon load of provisions supplies to the Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin.Gundren Rockseeker
and a human warrior named Sildar Hallwinter
, headed out, ahead of OldG to Phandalin. OldG set off from Neverwinter, towards Phandalin. having spent a few days travelling the high road. Heading toward Phandalin the group took a detour.
Having a short break the group were ambushed by goblins near the area, the group explored the area where they were attack, as on of the group member had spotted goblin footprints, not want to encounter further goblins the group was about to continue their journey towards Phandalin until the group heard screams coming from the north, which lead the group to a cave opening.
The group entered the cave where they encountered wolves, which they befriended.
The group ventured further into the unknown regions of the cave and found a goblins den, where a human was being tortured by a group of goblins.
The party battled the goblins until one goblin named Yeemik
was left, who was using the human Sildar Hallwinter
as a hostage shield.
One of the party convinced Yeemik that his life would be spared and he could be ruler of this secret hideout, if we were to tell the party information about this cave and to help the party to overthrow the current ruler of this cave. Yeemik, willingly complied.
Yeemik leads the party along with Hallwinter, to the where the cave's current rules lives, a bugbear named Klarg
. The party convinced Yeemik to assassinate Klarg, Yeemik tried but failed to attack Klarg before there was a battle.
The party, along with Hallwinter and Yeemik fought Klarg and his pet wolf Ripper
and goblin guards.
The party first disposed of the goblins, before Ripper went down too. When Klarg was near death one of the party members betrayed Yeemik & tossed him into the fire where he died.
Now that Klarg was no more. The party found stolen provisions store goods
which belong to the Lionshield Coster
in Phandalin, but needed a wagon to transport them. Klargs treasure chest contained 600CP (Copper Pieces), 110SP (Silver Pieces), 2HP (Healing Potions), a jade statue of a frog with golden orbs eyes (40GP).
The party emerges from the cave and heads back to their wagon with Hallwinter & the stolen goods, what will the group do now
